Ibstock
Ibstock Ltd is a leading manufacturer of brick and paving – domestic and commercial. They have 24 brick and paver plants with a total annual capacity in excess of 900 million bricks. The Company employs a total of 1960 people across the UK and has the backing of one of the world’s largest building materials companies.
Ibstock Ltd approached us with the task of creating a new website that featured a suite of interactive product selectors to help buyers find the right product quickly.
Project overview
We developed the website using combinations of traditional HTML, Flash and JavaScript to best deliver information quickly and robustly.
Online product selectors allow visitors to shortlist products based on certain criteria, and once selected, a particular product has supporting data, downloads and sample ordering facilities.
The website also collects customer data and allows for newsletters to be sent from the website.
At the time of writing this, the website has been live for a few years, it continues to perform exceptionally well and gain regular use from Ibstocks customer base. Recently, Ibstock have worked with us to produce a mobile version of the website that allows tradespeople to access the product catalogue remotely using mobile phones.
