Businesselle is an online magazine and product catalogue that promotes lines of business-wear and accessories for women.
Businesselle approached us to create their online fashion retail catalogue and challenged our ecommerce design team with their unique ideas.
Project overview
As with all ecommerce projects we started by heavily focusing on design to ensure the final ecommerce website was more than suitable for its target market. Our goal was to deliver a fashion-mag feel but with most of the features of an ecommerce website – whilst customers don’t actually buy products direct from Businesselle, the buy buttons simply link to websites where the items can actually be purchased.
The ecommerce-based website was constructed using our own ecommerce solution that allows for full management of the website and product catalogue – we simply tailored the website and disabled checkout features. We also included a Flash widget on the home page to bring the website to life, and just as with fashion magazines – there are scores of banners within the design that are managed via the websites control panel.
