djdownload.com was set up by DJ's and clubbers for DJ's and clubbers. They are passionate about dance music of any kind and believe that the people producing it need to be rewarded for their talent. They believe that legal downloading is the way that this will happen and will keep dance music growing.
Vinyl is no longer the only viable format – new technology is allowing DJs to mix digital formats like never before. DJs are embracing the digital revolution and CDs and MP3s are no longer vinyl’s poor relations.
djdownload.com wanted to offer DJs who are striving for their unique “sound” the widest repertoire with the latest cutting edge tracks and those rare never-to-be-pressed-again gems at affordable prices. They also wanted to help clubbers identify the tracks they’re hearing in the clubs and let them build up a collection for their MP3 players
Project overview
To support their mission djdownload.com needed a slick and technologically sound Web site that would allow DJs and clubbers to quickly find, listen to and purchase tracks online.
With our track record in this area, Interactive Web Solutions were the natural partner to provide this site. We implemented a solution with high-end server infrastructure and large capacity storage capability. Developed in PHP, MySQL and VB the site provided:

As well as individual MP3 tracks the site also supports the download of albums in a zip file format.
