Collegium Records
Collegium Records was established in 1984 by the composer and conductor, John Rutter. The label is dedicated to Rutter's choir, The Cambridge Singers, with the aim of presenting a range of choral music in recordings of musical excellence and high technical quality.
Collegium has garnered many critical plaudits, including 'Gramophone Record of the Year' for its recording of Fauré's Requiem. Its catalogue of over 30 titles includes a wide range of repertoire, from Gregorian chant to the music of the young British composer Tarik O'Regan, and definitive recordings of compositions by John Rutter, directed by the composer himself.
