Project overview
Harcourt Education approached Interactive Web Solutions with a brief to develop a Key Stage 2 interactive mystery text called the Body in the Bog. The text is based on the discovery of some human remains.
The application was eventually integrated into the Harcourt Multimedia Reading project.
The solution included:
- Very graphical interfaces that make extensive use of animation, video and audio
- Interactive functionality to engage the children as much as possible and make the learning experience fun
- Comprehensive teacher management system that monitors the work that each child has completed
- Capability for the children to make notes as they read a story
