Stimulating Physics
Stimulating Physics is an important pilot programme set up by the Institute of Physics. It began with an award of £1.8m award from the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) in March 2006; a further award in May 2008 will take the programme through to July 2009 on a further award in 2008.
The project aims to:
- increase participation in physics-based courses in higher education (HE);
- broaden the pool of entrants to physics-based courses in HE.

The Institute of Physics approached iWeb with a brief to design CD Rom including card inserts to encourage students to take physics for A-level and their degree.
