Planet Science
Planet Science was started life as the public face of the Department for Education and Skill's Science Year initiative.
'Science Year' was an educational campaign to inspire young people and enhance their perception of science. It was deemed to be a success, and extended for another school year by the DfES to July 2003, and renamed Planet Science.
Planet Science is now owned and run by NESTA and will continue into the future.
Project overview
Science Year (Planet Science) approached Interactive Web Solutions with a brief to develop a CD ROM to attract sponsors for their projects.
The solution included:
- Macromedia Director based application
- Interactive CD ROM
- MPEG 2 video player
