Harcourt Education

Project overview
Harcourt Education approached Interactive Web Solutions with a brief to develop a Key Stage 1 interactive text called Theme Park Adventure. The story is about a families trip to the theme park.
The application was eventually integrated into the Harcourt Multimedia Reading project.
The solution included:
- Very graphical interfaces that make extensive use of animation, video and audio
- Interactive functionality to engage the children as much as possible and make the learning experience fun
- Comprehensive teacher management system that monitors the work that each child has completed
- Capability for the children to make notes as they read a story
