Graphic designer
We require the skills of an exceptionally talented Graphic designer to join our team. Your graphics work must be "clean, modern, have a high end look to it, and the navigation must be straight forward".
You should have an area of proficiency in Multimedia, Typography or 3D Design. The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient and be able to work well within a team. Ideally you will have an artistic / graphics qualification and will be strong at layout and image alteration. You should be highly talented, creative and enthusiastic about graphic design. In addition you need to be extremely reliable, take direction and instruction well and be able to meet tight deadlines.
Ideally, you will have 3 years industry experience. Junior members will have a minimum of 1 or more years industry experience. You will be required to work on ALL aspects of conceptualisation, design and production.
Online projects, including design and development of Web sites, Web pages, banner ads, online newsletters, etc. Offline projects, including marketing design of banners, print ads, etc. You must have worked with both Photoshop and Illustrator and any of the following are also useful: InDesign, Image Ready, Flash, Fireworks and Dreamweaver.
Ideally you will have some of the following:
- Very strong skills in layout, typography and colour theory
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organisational skills
- Work well as a team member across multiple accounts and projects
- Execute solid designs that speak to the provided creative and art direction
- Solid understanding of Web and print production process
You MUST HAVE A PORTFOLIO or some Web sites to show us, this is ESSENTIAL in order for your application to be considered.
