CSS developer
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
- Excellent knowledge of CSS
- Can primarily build and style pages with CSS (validating level 2) and do NOT use tables for layout
- Excellent knowledge of XHTML
- Must validate correctly when testing via the W3C
- Must be aware of cross browser issues and can build for IE 5.5+, Firefox 1.x as well as Safari 1.x (Mac)
- Must be aware of W3C considerations and be able to build to at least WAI Priority 2
- Experience of development within a .php environment would be an advantage but is not essential
It will be necessary for you to take Photoshop layouts and transfer them to newly created Dreamweaver page templates.
All HTML must fit with the latest accessibility standards and must validate to the W3C XHTML 1.0 Transitional guidelines. All CSS must validate to the W3C CSS 2 guidelines.
You MUST HAVE A PORTFOLIO or some Web sites to show us, this is ESSENTIAL in order for your application to be considered.
