Wallpaper Wednesday: Nature
August 10, 2011 | Dave Redfern
No doubt National Geographic features fantastic photography. The authors and photographers for National Geographic are one of the most diverse and committed people, and this is very obvious in every magazine they release. From urban to rural areas, from the civilized to the most exotic to the most desolate of locations, from happy events to disastrous ones, from home to the professional life, and religious and beyond, these people cover almost every bit of information of every aspect of this world. The photographic as well as journalistic excellence of National Geographic is truly undeniable.

Wallpaper Wednesday: Volcanoes
May 25, 2011 | Dave Redfern
Volcanoes are an opening or rupture in the planets surface which allows hot magma to be released to the surface. Generally volcanoes can be where tectonic plates meet.
Recently Iceland has had two erupt causing disruption to many flights in the UK and Europe. Whilst volcanoes can cause catastrophic damage they can also be a thing of beauty. Here are a few of our favourite photos for this weeks Wallpaper Wednesday.

Wallpaper Wednesday: Bridges
May 11, 2011 | Dave Redfern
The first bridges were made naturally with fallen logs across streams or stones in rivers. The first bridges made by humans were probably made from wooden logs or planks and eventually stone. Now bridges are made with a wide variety of materials including iron and concrete allowing these vital transport structures to also become technological and architural wonders.
Here are a collection of some of our favourite for this weeks wallpaper Wednesday.

Wallpaper Wednesday: Signs
April 06, 2011 | Dave Redfern
The French enseigne indicates its essential connection with what is known in English as a flag and in France banners not infrequently took the place of signs or sign boards in the Middle Ages. Signs, however, are best known in the form of painted or carved advertisements for shops, inns, etc. They are one of various emblematic methods used from time immemorial for publicly calling attention to the place to which they refer.
Signs have become an artistic playground for designers and here are a collection of some of our favourites to use for this weeks wallpaper.
