Sisk + Corus – Speedy Building using Modules

From time to time a customer needs a web site developing and launching with a super quick turnaround for a special event or to tie in with a specific date in a promotion calendar. The new web site launched in June 2009 for Sisk and Corus is iWeb’s latest example of speedy (website) building.

Sisk and Corus have set up an alliance to provide modular accommodation solutions to the hotel and student accommodation sectors. Corus manufacture the steel framed modules off-site complete with fixtures, furniture and fittings and erect the modules on-site. Sisk complete the construction including communal areas and external cladding. By joining forces the two companies can speedily erect entire buildings, reduce construction costs and save a huge amount of time juggling with contractors on-site.

The dedicated website for the new alliance had to be ready for launch in time for a Building Industry Exhibition. Taking the bones of a WordPress site, iWeb adapted and applied the design from the corporate branding to deliver a content managed brochure site. The company can now quickly update their own content including adding images to the Flash gallery to show progress on projects as they happen and attach brochures, images and animations to the Download section.

This solution is ideal when time is of the essence and provides the customer with an ongoing website for delivering new key information.
